Refurbishment of one existing industrial building with associated access road, service yard, car parking area and landscaping.

The scheme comprises the refurbishment of the existing terraced building to Units 2-4 of Airport Gate estate, dated from 1999, and redesign of the site layout. The building refurbishment includes stripping out the existing building to steel frame and replacing the external envelope, alterations to the internal floor areas with addition of a new mezzanine and new vehicle service pits required by the tenant. The new design of the external layout creates a legible and clear site access that responds to security issues on site whilst addressing the need  for a larger yard to Unit 2-4. The design of the scheme achieves a modern and distinctive appearance with the introduction of a parapet at roof level and a feature entrance.
