We prioritise active listening and collaboration to design impactful and exceptional spaces with commercial acumen. As professionals in the built environment, we recognise our significant role in shaping a more sustainable future.
We aim to advance the ESG agenda with every project to meet the demands of clients, occupiers, and investors. ESG has become integral to our business & our approach when designing new schemes, and we now measure the sustainability and ethical impact of everything we do.
Environmental
We implement carbon mitigation, pollution prevention, and sustainable practices in our workplaces and developments. An internal environmental strategy guides our teams, measuring successes and identifying areas for improvement.
At PRC, we understand how to deliver BREEAM Excellent/Outstanding ratings and Net Zero Carbon developments. We continually explore new technologies to enhance environmental benefits, striving to achieve the highest possible accreditation with commercial awareness regardless of the chosen assessment method.
Sustainability is reviewed at every stage of a project. Right from the inception stage, we take into consideration potential opportunities for all aspects of sustainability, such as; BNG, urban greening, energy efficiency, rainwater harvesting, sourcing local materials, assessing alternative energy sources, solar shading, etc. These issues are addressed not only from a practical deliverability level but also for commercial viability and planning policy compliance.
We involve clients and specialist consultants at early stages so that sustainable aspects can be designed into the project as it evolves, rather than added on later. Beyond achieving net zero Carbon in construction and delivery, we look at the long-term sustainability of our buildings. By addressing factors such as ventilation, overheating, and daylighting, we design buildings that promote sustainable use by their occupants. We are Planet Mark accredited and undergo yearly analysis of our carbon footprint to meet net-zero goals.

Our people and our clients are our most important assets. We have nurtured a team of talented, competent and credible individuals to drive growth and deliver sustainable development for our clients.
We strive to be an employer of choice and create a workplace environment that promotes diversity, equality, development, trust, and teamwork. This is evident in our exceptionally low staff turnover with over half the staff being with the business more than ten years.
Governance
Our Governing Board consists of 4 Directors and the Board meets monthly to review all elements of the business.
Evaluating the impact of ESG goals can be complex. At PRC, our ESG framework is constructed using a comprehensive set of metrics that cover all aspects of our operations. This framework is tailored to address the different sectors we work in and the unique challenges they present.
We have established clear long-term ESG goals, with each area following a specific roadmap divided into distinct milestones. Our overall governance strategy ensures that each area remains aligned with our goals, maintaining collective accountability throughout the organisation.
We do not use a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, we seek to improve our designs with each new project. our goal is to create buildings and environments that our clients can be proud of, which are market-oriented, offer outstanding value, and are attractive.
