PRC Group’s Sustainable Progress: Key Highlights from Our Latest Planet Mark Report
At PRC Group, our commitment to sustainable design and a positive planet is central to everything we do. We’re pleased to share the key achievements from our latest Planet Mark Measurement Report (Sept 2024 – Aug 2025), marking five years of dedicated environmental measurement.
Significant Reductions Achieved:
- 21.6% reduction in absolute carbon emissions year-on-year (normalised).
- 35.5% decrease in Scope 1 & 2 emissions, driven by our transition to 100% renewable electricity. This led to a 92.9% reduction in market-based Scope 2 emissions.
- Near 100% reduction in waste emissions, with zero landfill waste in YE2025.
Our total carbon footprint now stands at 24.6 tCO2e (market-based).
Beyond Emissions: Our Social Impact
We also delivered £211,739 in social value, supporting community initiatives, staff wellbeing, and environmental projects, including donations to the Eden Project. Our efforts align with several UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Looking Ahead:
While celebrating our progress, we recognise the ongoing journey. We’re focused on further expanding our Scope 3 reporting and enhancing data accuracy.
