The Moor Road, Sevenoaks

Four new buildings sub divided into eight units with associated service areas, car parking and landscaping.

The layout of the site has been developed to respond to the site constraints and the practical considerations of an industrial scheme. The land to the South and South West is occupied by residential properties, the design of the scheme acknowledges this sensitive use and as such all the operational areas are shielded by the orientation and placement of the proposed units. In order to respond to the local market demands the scheme is comprised of units of varying sizes. A row of mature trees to the South West of the site forms an important buffer to the residential properties along The Moor Road, and therefore these were retained and the buildings set back in order not to disturb the root zones. More trees were added in order to enhance this buffer.
